Millionaire Mom Habits, Part 2: The Process

In my last post, Millionaire mom habits, I told you that I'm breaking with my bad habit of waking up and laying in my bed for hours scrolling on Facebook and Tiktok. I started the week off with a morning routine poster in the bathroom, and Im not going to lie to you... I didn't follow it every day.

On Monday morning, I woke up, went to Training (check out my Camp Gladiator Post), and got my oldest up on time for school. I made breakfast, tended to the little baby, and started working on my Forex Trading Classes. It was great!! Brian got a couple more hours of sleep. I actually paid attention and learned something. I was good!

But When Tuesday came, I overslept. I missed training. My oldest woke up on her own and only had a pack of oatmeal. The little baby was crying and Brian was a bit grumpy. My body wasn't sore, but I just didn't want to get up or do anything. 

Wednesday and Friday were just like Monday. I had the energy and capacity to get through the day. I saw and felt the sun on my face and the cold air felt so good on my hands. Even though I didn't wake up on time Thursday, I still followed the routine and had a great day. 

I'm telling you this because I'm seeing my progress by making simple behavior changes and I'm doing it in the following process:

  1. Acknowledge my bad habits AND their effects on my life and others, one time only. Laying in my bed too long not only affects My family, but it could possibly be hurting 30+ other families who might need help getting up, too. It sucks admitting where we are messed up, but it's the first (not the most important) step for me in my dreams of owning a business and taking vacations for half the year.
  2. Learn and implement new habits every single day. I try not to forget the reasons why I'm switching my habits. So I talk about them all the time and I write them down in my journals. 
  3. Review the Progress. If the new habits work, then I try to make the new habit consistent.

It's working for me. I know it can work for you, too. 

This week will be even better than the last!
